Latinoware 2010 will be held in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Brazil, in the facilities of the Itaipu Technological Park (PTI), located inside the premises of Itaipu Bi-National Power Plant.
Itaipu, currently the world's largest operating hydro-power generation concern, is also part of the city's list of tourist attractions, is located in the Western-most border of the state of Paraná, on the border with Argentina and Paraguay. Anotjer unique aspect of the region are Iguassu Falls.
The plant, also site of Itaipu Technological Park (PTI) and, por consequently, also the "home" of Latinoware, is a bi-national venture undertaken by Brazil and Paraguay on the Paraná River, on the stretch between the borders of the two countries, 14 km to the north of the Bridge of Friemndship. The area of the project extends from Foz do Iguaçu, in Brazil, and Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay, to the south, until Guaíra (Brasil) and Salto del Guairá (Paraguay), to the north.

PTI, in its turn, is an innovative space, geared to technological and scientific development, entreprenerism and employment and income generation at the triple border. It has been set up in the former lodgings of the dam builders of Itaipu.
