VII Conferência Latino Americana
de 10 a 12 de novembro de 2010 - Foz do Iguaçu | PR | Brasil
The "Páginas Amigas (Friendly Pages)" section is a space set aside for publication of logos of sites that display the Latinoware banner . The initiative, successfully implemented by the organizing committee of the FISL and, since 2006, adopted by the organizing committee of Latinoware, is one of returning something for spontaneous disclosure of the event in community, user, cooperative, corporate and professional sites.
If you have displayed the Latinoware banner on your site and are interested in participating in the "Páginas Amigas" space, please advise the organizing committee of Latinoware 2010, on e-mail paginasamigas@latinoware.org, providing all the data in compliance with the following rules:
1. The logo must be sent as standard size image 120x50 pixels (standard) and in formats PNG (free format), GIF (including animations) or JPG (jpeg);
2. The images received will not be edited or adapted given the risk of altering the original design and in this way impairing the quality of the logos;
3. Choose the Latinoware 2010 logo that best fits the layout of your page or, else, choose item 8;
4. Checks whether the Latinoware 2010 banner points to http://www.latinoware.org (standard URL for disclosure of the current edition of the event);
5. The displaying site must be totally functional for open source browsers (no proprietary tie ups);
6. The complete URL for the location of the Latinoware 2010 banner must be sent to the organizing committee of the event;
7. Specify the URL to be pointed to by the logo published on Páginas Amigas (to be seen on clicking), making sure it contains the Latinoware 2010 banner, since this targets identifying the link used in the display;
8. Inform the Páginas Amigas section the one that best groups the purpose of the page indicated by the URL or suggest another;
9. Pop-up windows are not accepted for displaying the banner (unpleasant practice);
10. The banner can be adapted to adjust to the layout used in the page (freedom of use);
11. If the banner is not feasible on the page, another image can be used for disclosure, as long as it carries similar evidence;
12. In items 6 and 7, the image published must always be equal to or larger than the size of the logo (provide us with your free adaptations so others can use them);
13. For display on rotating banner areas, Latinoware 2010's must be seen at every 3 (three) up dates maximum (quick visualization), but we'd rather avoid this format;
14. The page indicated by the logo sent in must contain the banner of the event, thus avoiding cross-posting, i.e, point to a logo and site without the banner since it was displayed on another site;
15. Each site deserves its own logo, and there are no restrictions in terms of which group to belong to, but we recommend these be indicated by different logos.
Important: the Organization of Latinoware 2010 expects the disclosure to be kept on the air before, during and a couple of weeks after the event dates, bearing in mind that reciprocity here, on the “Páginas Amigas” section, will be permanent. This implies the banner must be affixed to the page indicated, i.e, it should not be inserted in chronologically-driven news content.
Help us to disclose Latinoware with our own publicizing material (range of sizes and formats, but respected the content of item 8). Pick up your material in the Disclosure section of our site or click here: Disclosure Latinoware 2010
Attention: our Team reads every message received by the e-mail indicated (paginasamigas@latinoware.org) but, given the demands of organizing Latinoware 2010, there may be a slight delay in responding to them. Therefore, we count with your understanding and a little understanding and patience in publishing the logos. Thanks ;)
IMPORTANT: Pages we feel have content or material against Open Source Software, the free dissemination of knowledge or believed to be unethical or immoral will have the disclosure of any links and logos refused.
The Organizing Committee of Latinoware 2010 thanks everyone, in advance, for their collaboration.
